Our client, a thriving organization located in Louisville, KY, is looking for a motivated Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is an ideal role for an early-career accounting professional who is looking for mentorship, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to touch all aspects of the accounting cycle.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting while supporting the leadership team during critical periods like month-end close and annual budgeting. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
salary: $62,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Support: Assist with the end-to-end accounting process, including preparing and posting journal entries and supporting the month-end close.
- Reconciliations: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by performing regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Transactional Oversight: Manage daily and monthly invoicing tasks and maintain precise records for accounts payable.
- Financial Analysis: Support the team in reporting key business performance metrics and performing ad-hoc financial analysis to guide executive decision-making.
- Strategic Planning: Provide vital support during the annual budgeting process and yearly financial reviews/audits.
