We are currently seeking a AI Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
"Job Duties: NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team to help a strategic banking client in various AI development activities. As an AI Engineer with NTT DATA, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging your skills to design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on transformative projects that drive business intelligence and decision-making across diverse industries.
Responsibilities:
• Design & maintain canonical LLM APIs across on-prem/cloud
• Operate AI gateway (streaming, capacity, SLOs)
• Implement enterprise-grade Auth (OAuth2, mTLS, token binding)
• Own API versioning/deprecation & compatibility matrices
• Integrate observability/evals (OpenTelemetry, correlation IDs)
• Evolve SDKs (auth, telemetry, signal endpoints)
• Run performance/soak tests & enforce promotion SLO gates
Primary Skills:
• Python coding skills
• LLM API design (chat/generate/search/ingest)
• API lifecycle management
• AI Gateway operations (streaming, rate limits, quotas)
• Telemetry & observability (OpenTelemetry, trace propagation)
• SDK development (LangGraph/ADK)
Secondary Skills:
• Agent frameworks : LangGraph/ADK
• LLM observability (spaces/projects)
• Batch/async API patterns & promotion gates
• Guardrails, Model Armor, Azure Content Safety
• AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor)
• Hands-on with GCP Vertex AI, Azure envs.
Minimum Skills Required: 5+ yrs strong hands on python
2+ yrs strong LLM API development
2+ yrs LLM testing and evaluation
2+ yrs hands on in GCP Vertex AI and/or Azure AI Foundry"
