Commercial Roof Snow Shoveler

PeopleReady is hiring Commercial Roof Snow Shovelers to support snow and ice removal on flat and low-slope commercial rooftops throughout the Southeastern Massachusetts area. This is on-call, weather-dependent work during snow events. Safety, reliability, and physical stamina are essential.

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What You'll Do as a Commercial Roof Snow Shoveler:

• Remove snow and ice from commercial flat rooftops 
• Shovel and clear designated areas according to site plans
• Apply ice melt as directed
• Safely lift, carry, and move snow removal tools and materials
• Follow all fall protection and rooftop safety procedures
• Assist ground crews with additional snow removal when needed

Shift Timings: All Available

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Comfortable working at heights on commercial rooftops
• Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work
• Able to work long, on-call shifts during snow events, including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation to various job sites across Southeastern Massachusetts
• Steel-toe boots required
• Must follow all safety guidelines
• Work performed outdoors in cold, snowy, and fast-paced winter conditions
