Job Title: Customer Service Representatives

Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $24-$28 per hour

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing purchase orders through SAP, coordinating order fulfillment, and resolving customer inquiries. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, production, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers via phone and email, providing prompt and professional support.
• Process and manage customer purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Enter, track, and maintain customer orders in the SAP system from order receipt through shipment and invoicing.
• Coordinate with internal departments including sales, manufacturing, shipping, and accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Generate and review customer invoices in SAP, resolving discrepancies and ensuring billing accuracy.
• Provide order status updates, shipment tracking, and product availability information to customers.
• Handle customer concerns, returns, and order issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed customer records, order documentation, and communication history within SAP and company systems.
• Assist with pricing verification, contract terms, and customer account maintenance.
• Support the sales team by managing administrative tasks related to customer orders and accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP for order entry, purchase order processing, and invoicing required.
• Strong understanding of order management, purchase orders, and billing processes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with experience handling high-volume customer calls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience working with sales teams, logistics, and production scheduling preferred.
