We specialize in providing comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness services, focusing on dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and documenting health histories accurately.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring the necessary instruments and equipment are on hand.
• Conduct basic lab tests and manage the handling and preparation of specimens for testing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and facilitate smooth office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and effective skincare practices.
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary medical supplies.
• May participate in supporting the clinic’s social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred.
• Social Media/Marketing experience preferred
• Previous experience in a medical assistant role or clinical setting is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is advantageous.
