Dishwashers are key to a smooth restaurant service. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment.

• Sort and rinse dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send though dish machine.
• Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dish water in dish machine as necessary
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
• Remove trash and recyclables to dumpster
• Set up or break down dishwashing area
• Clean and roll/unroll mats
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
• Sweep/mop floors
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
• Conduct general restaurant cleaning as directed
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
• Notify a manager any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Other duties as directed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry 50lbs frequently
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work on weekends and some holidays
• Ability to maintain composure during stressful, high volume times.
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment.

Salary: 
$18.00 hourly.
