Job Summary
Professionally support the mission of the San Joaquin County Office of Education in providing high-quality delivery of educational services to all students. Under the direction of a Program Administrator, provides interpreting/transliteration services that effectively, accurately, and impartially, both receptively and expressively, using any necessary specialized vocabulary that facilitates communication between deaf and/or hard of hearing (D/HH) students and others; teachers, administrators, parents, students, and counselors. To assist a teacher in providing instruction to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
