Estate Planning & Tax Planning Attorney
A respected Florida law firm is seeking an Estate Planning / Tax Planning Attorney to join its Jacksonville-area office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong tax background who values sophisticated planning work, client interaction, and long-term professional growth within a collaborative, primarily in-office environment.
What You'll Do
* Draft and implement comprehensive estate and tax planning strategies, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, advanced tax-planning vehicles, and asset protection structures.
* Advise individuals and families on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters.
* Work closely with high-net-worth clients, business owners, and their advisors to develop customized planning solutions.
* Assist with trust and estate administration matters as needed, including post-death tax planning and compliance.
* Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors to ensure coordinated and effective planning.
* Maintain regular, clear communication with clients regarding planning objectives, strategies, and implementation.
What We're Looking For
* LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning Highly Preferred.
* Active Florida Bar member in good standing (or ability to waive in).
* 2+ years of experience in estate planning and tax planning.
* Strong drafting, analytical, and technical tax skills.
* Ability to work in-office the majority of the time (Jacksonville area).
* Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with standard legal and office technology.
