The Interim Executive Director will lead retail strategy and execution across Ulta and Nordstrom, taking full ownership of commercial planning and performance delivery. This individual will drive sales growth, optimise in-store and online execution, and ensure strong alignment across cross-functional teams throughout the interim period. The role calls for sharp commercial judgement, outstanding relationship management capabilities and the ability to quickly embed into the business and deliver impact from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead account management for Ulta and Nordstrom, ensuring consistent communication, business alignment, and operational execution.
• Build short-term growth plans that support category objectives, brand priorities, and retail partner needs.
• Manage promotional and launch strategies, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong in-store execution.
• Analyze POS trends, competitive shifts, and consumer insights to recommend rapid-impact initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, finance, education, planning, and supply chain to deliver seamless go-to-market execution.
• Oversee inventory and operational coordination to maintain healthy stock levels and minimize risk.
• Prepare business reviews, performance summaries, and strategic recommendations for internal and retailer meetings.

Experience Requirements

• Experience managing key retail accounts within beauty or CPG, ideally with exposure to Ulta or Nordstrom.
• Strong analytical capabilities and confidence in forecasting, data interpretation, and retail performance evaluation.
• Skilled in building relationships and influencing both internal partners and retailer stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.
• High proficiency in Excel and presentation tools, with the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. 
• Ability to travel as needed.
