This full-time, permanent Mechanical Design Engineer is at a trusted and well-established commercial product manufacturer that values its employees, fosters a supportive work environment, and prioritizes professional growth and development. • Provide technical direction and support to shop floor personnel and maintenance to correct design problems and support process improvement/LEAN initiatives
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and machine startup activities, interpreting results to implement corrective actions for final run-off
  • Analyze product designs for manufacturing feasibility and make recommendations to optimize delivery time, cost, and part quality

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience in machine design (designing equipment/machinery for manufacturing) required for Level II
  • Associate's degree in engineering or a related field of study is required; a Bachelor’s degree would be preferred

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
