JOB TITLE: Project Manager – Public Infrastructure

LOCATION: Pasco County, FL

PAY: $32.05/hr. ($66,677 annually)

SCHEDULE: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday

WORK SETTING: In Office

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support public infrastructure initiatives within a fast-paced government environment. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time and within budget while collaborating with internal departments, contractors, and community stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of project management experience, or Master’s degree and four (4) years of experience
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required
• Strong experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and timelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Preferred:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in public infrastructure, utilities, or government projects

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and visual)
• Occasional travel and field work may be required

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for project execution
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress, performance, and compliance with contract requirements
• Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates
• Analyze data to support planning, prioritization, and decision-making

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with County staff, contractors, and external partners
• Support presentations, community outreach, and public-facing initiatives
• Escalate issues and provide recommendations to leadership as needed

Risk & Process Management

• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Adjust project plans based on changing needs and priorities
• Recommend process improvements and enhance project efficiency

Administrative & Strategic Support

• Assist with acquisition strategies and infrastructure planning initiatives
• Support budgeting, research, and administrative documentation
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
