Role: SAP BI Solution Architect and Developer

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Contract

SAP BI consultant to support their SAP S/4HANA deployments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and gather reporting requirements for assigned projects

• Partner with business users to deliver ad hoc enhancements and key metric reporting across FI, SD, MM, PM, and Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
• Develop functional and technical design documentation.
• Design, develop, test, and implement BW/HANA/Datasphere solutions and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to development standards and governance guidelines.
• Provide maintenance and support for BW, HANA, Datasphere, and S/4 Embedded Analytics.
• Deliver user training and business support as needed.
• Work with IS teams to troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Overall 8+ years of SAP analytics, modeling, and development experience (BW, BW on HANA, Business explorer, Power BI).
• Strong experience designing and configuring SAP BW/HANA objects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, data mapping, and dimensional modeling.
• Practical experience with full lifecycle BI deployments and custom development.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Highly organized with strong follow through skills.
• Nice to have: S/4HANA Embedded Analytics experience.
