Job Description

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea , OnDemandChina , OnDemandViet , and Amasian TV . It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently seeking a Social Media Content Unpaid Intern to join the FAST Business Unit. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Asian Content, K-Drama, C-Drama, Movies, Anime, and so on. We are looking for a Social Media Content Intern to bridge the gap between our premium long-form Asian library and the fast-paced world of vertical video. You will be responsible for "hunting" for the most iconic, heart-fluttering, or meme-worthy moments and packaging them for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and extract 15-second 'Micro-Drama' highlights from our content catalog that serve as compelling, standalone stories for short-form discovery.
• Edit 16:9 cinematic footage into high-quality 9:16 vertical videos using a video editing solution under the brand guideline.
• Manage the daily upload schedule and keep a simple pulse on how fans are engaging (likes/shares) with each post.
• Monitor social media daily to match trending audios or "challenges" with relevant scenes from our shows.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong interest in Asian entertainment (K-dramas, films, anime, K-pop, etc.) and active familiarity with current trends and popular titles.
• Short-Form narrative: Good sense of a 3-second “hook” successful on TikTok and Reels. 
• Basic Editing Skills: Proficiency in vertical video editing (Adding captions, transitions and syncing audio.)
• Social Media Savvy: Ability to write catchy captions and use the right keywords/hashtags for the Asian content viewers. 
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in our Fullerton office Monday through Thursday.
