GENERAL PURPOSE : Under the direction of the A.S./SDSUCompetitive Sports Coordinator , the Head Coach for the club baseball team will be responsible for the coordination and operations of the San Diego State University Club Baseball team. The Head Coach will assist with team recruitment and selection; create practice plans and team development strategies; run and control team drills; and achieve the enhancement of team skill performance. This position requires availability for evening and weekend hours.
The Head Coach is responsible for the enforcement of rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Sport Club Handbook as well as all duties associated with coaching a collegiate club program. The successful candidate will be expected to enforce and comply with all policies and procedures established by Associated Students/SDSU, the Sport Club Program, and National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) while serving as a positive role model for the program and SDSU.

This is a volunteer position. Flexibility and willingness to work up to 25 hours per week; employee schedules vary according to team needs throughout the academic year.

EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY : This is a part-time hourly position at $22.00 per hour.
