Radiology Technologist – Mammography travel assignment in Bethel, Alaska. Start date 06/23/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 32 hours per week on days in a hospital imaging department. Weekly pay ranges from $2,267 to $2,419.

Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging examinations across the age range, including routine screening and diagnostic views, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures, determine follow-up timing where appropriate, and communicate findings with radiologists as needed.
- Prepare patients, provide instructions to optimize results, and minimize anxiety; verify consent and apply aseptic technique as required.
- Operate imaging equipment, select appropriate protocols, position patients, and implement necessary restraints or support devices for image quality and safety.
- Conduct basic imaging QA/QC, transfer images to PACS, maintain accurate patient records, and support department workflow to meet scheduling needs.

Requirements
- Current ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) or equivalent required.
- Initial training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis; two years post-graduation experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated mammography training preferred.
- Ability to perform mammography studies including routine screening and diagnostic views; capable of working in a hospital imaging department in Bethel, Alaska.
