Job Description:

The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for a variety of complex welding and fabrication projects in the Industrial Shop. They will interpret complex blueprints, layout, fabricate, and weld jobs of a wide variety, including structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals. Most of the welding is MIG and Flux Core.

Shift and Pay:

Monday - Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm

$24-$28/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from complex blueprints for various projects.
• Layout, fabricate, and weld structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely.
• Work independently at an assigned work station.
• Support structural and miscellaneous departments.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Structural Steel or Misc. Metals Layout, Fitting, and Welding.
• 3+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading.
• 3+ years of experience in MIG and Flux Core Welding.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cocoa,FL.
