Job Description
We are seeking a motivated HR Specialist for our manufacturing client in Southington, CT. This unique temp-to-perm role offers a structured ramp-up period, starting as part-time during initial training and transitioning into a permanent, full-time position within a few weeks.

Responsibilities
- alent Acquisition: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly production staff, skilled trades (machinists, technicians), and administrative roles.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to shop floor employees and supervisors; resolve grievances, conduct investigations, and foster a positive, safe safety culture.
- Onboarding & Training: Lead orientation for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into our safety protocols and production standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (CT DOL, OSHA, FMLA/CT FMLA). Partner with the EHS team to manage workers' compensation claims and safety training documentation.
- HR Administration: Oversee time and attendance tracking for hourly payroll processing, manage local benefits enrollment, and maintain accurate digital employee records.
