Under close supervision incumbents regularly perform a limited range of duties that become routine, shortly after the initial training period; and/or learns to perform a variety of full journey level general clerical duties.

Working Conditions

The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.

• The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

All state civil service employees are currently subjected to a mandatory Personal Leave Program (PLP), which entails a reduction in monthly gross salary but provides PLP leave credits in lieu of Pay through June 30, 2027. The amount of salary reduction is dependent upon the classification and associated union Bargaining Unit (BU). The BU for this position is Service Employee International Union (SEIU), subject to 3% in salary reduction, accruing approximately 3-5 hours of PLP each month.
