Location: This is a full-time, 100% on-site opportunity in Chicago, Illinois, ideal for someone who wants to work closely with attorneys and be fully integrated into a high-performing office team.

Note: Candidates must have real estate legal assistant experience. Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day legal assistant support to attorneys in a real estate practice
• Assist with commercial real estate transaction documents, correspondence, and closing materials
• Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents with strong attention to detail
• Manage calendars, meetings, deadlines, and attorney scheduling
• Organize and maintain matter files and transaction documents
• Coordinate signatures, document execution, and closing logistics
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal teams
• Keep matters moving by staying organized, responsive, and proactive

Qualifications

• Real estate legal assistant experience required
• Commercial real estate experience strongly preferred
• Prior law firm experience preferred
• Strong document production, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and deadline management skills
• Able to work full-time on-site in Chicago
