As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing balance sheets and income statements. Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely reporting. Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and invoicing. Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts, investigating any discrepancies. Assisting with tax calculations, filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 1 hrs of overtime per week
